Master Fortin is offering a Son Yul (Korean Ki Kong) workshop on February 17 from 2-6pm at the San Francisco Aikikai Dojo, 1625 Bush Street (corner of Bush & Franklin).
Kwan Um Do Kwang and Korean Zen Sword Master Marc Fortin present the sun and moon sword interpretation of Son Yul. This is the middle path of the three Ki-Kong Cultivations.
Korean Zen Master Dae Soen Sa Nim taught that before thinking mind is primary point. Primary point is the platform or view from which Zen practice begins.
Participants should wear loose fitting clothing and have a comfortable cushion to sit on. As the practice is a form of action Zen and moderately vigorous, only those in good health can participate.
